How to Focus on Yourself and Form Positive Habits

At some point in our lives we all need a little support, a time to reset, recharge and really feel good. And sometimes we don’t even recognize that we need that support. We become so used to the feeling of, “well, that’s life and I guess I just need to deal with it and get used to it”.

But that doesn’t have to be the way you live your life! It’s not ok to feel stressed all the time. It’s not ok to feel so exhausted all the time. It’s not ok to feel overwhelmed and anxious all the time. Moments of stress, anxiety and feeling exhausted will still happen, but they DON’T have to become part of your routine, a part of your life.

With my Budy System course, we work together for 4 weeks to educate, provide support and offer practical tools to improve your daily well-being.

The Budy System course is customized to your individual needs and goals. BUT there are a few key principles that we cover to help form a strong base and foundation for which to build upon.

HERE IS AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT THE 4 WEEK COURSE COVERS:

1. Sleep: When was the last time that you fell asleep with ease and woke up feeling completely refreshed? No matter what your goals may be, if quality sleep is not addressed, other self-care improvements you make might not be as effective.

2. Total Reset: Building off of week 1, week 2 is all about a reset, for both your mind and body. This week is all about observing how the choices you make and the actions you take -or don’t take- affect you physically, mentally and emotionally.

3. Motivational Morning: Now don’t be scared. This is not about turning you into this “jump out of bed at the crack of dawn and tackle anything and everything” type of person. But it is about setting a purpose for the day, creating a positive start to your morning that can be carried with you throughout the rest of the day.

4. Specific Self Goals: The first 3 weeks in the system is focused on setting up a strong foundation to build from. Week 4 is all about your specific needs and goals. This is where we work together to create lasting change and improvement.

If you look at your last week, the last month, the last 6 months, how many days would you say you felt your best? How many days did you feel positive, happy, content? How many of those days did you feel tired, bored, a little sad or completely unmotivated?

If you don’t try anything new, if you don’t make any attempt to make a change, how will your tomorrow look? And the next day? And the next? Sometimes it takes a friend, a mentor, a Buddy from the outside to help you look at things from the inside.
